Pastor Chris Mohler

     My name is Pastor Chris Mohler. I am proud and honored to be serving as pastor of The Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship. I have been happily married to my beautiful wife, Teresa, since 2001. We have 3 amazing children. CJ, my oldest child, currently resides in Tennessee. Colby, my middle child, enjoys working and attending college. Sarah, my youngest child, is a very active high school athlete and student. Her favorite sports are wrestling and track and field. 

     I am currently a bi-vocational pastor. I have been employed by Loudoun County Public Schools since 1997. 

     My calling to ministry came later in my life, not until I was 40 years old, in 2016. God met me at a crucial time in my life when I was struggling with becoming the husband and father God intended me to be. Once I embraced God’s love and direction for my life, I enrolled in Susquehanna Valley Ministry Center and started working towards my ACTS degree. Shortly after, I became licensed in the Church of the Brethren Mid-Atlantic district and was hired by Brownsville Church of the Brethren to serve as the Associate/Youth Pastor. I was ordained in May of 2022.  

     One of my favorite ministries was when I was part of a prison ministry program at Maryland Correctional Training Center wherein, I attended weekly Bible study with the inmates. 

     The journey God has led us on has been nothing short of amazing, my family and I look forward to seeing what God has in store for us in the future here at The Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship.
